CHAD MCDANIEL

Youth Pastor
Chad comes from small town living of nearby Wrightsville, Georgia.  He was educated in the great college town of Statesboro, Georgia at The Georgia Southern University where he received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Information Systems.  After a stint in the fast paced corporate technology world he chose to transition into the education system where he now serves as the Director of Technology for the Dublin City School District.  Chad holds a Masters of Business Administration and is currently working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor through Walden University.  He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Kari, for 16 years and has two very passionate children, Mitchell (12) and Emma Claire (8).

The heartbeat of Chad is to work with the teens and college aged students and young adults in the community of Dublin and to lead them through the journey of self-discovery. A deep desire of his is to help these students learn the love of Christ in a deep and personal way.  Chad has always had a passion for the teenage life and all the rights and privileges that accompanies it, especially since he hasn’t seemed to mature past the age of 18. He is loved by his “kids” for being passionate and real about who he is and what he believes.

In his spare time, as a rarity that it happens, Chad spends a great deal of his time as a food critic and coinsure.  He has an especially deep love of bacon, jeeps and all things fruity.  He is an unpaid marketing representative of his favorite restaurants, Deano’s Italian, LaJoya and Little Tokyo and can be found in one, if not all of them on a daily basis. He is a tech geek, always entrenched in the in’s and out’s of the latest technology and loves everything college football and the sounds and smells of Fall.  Chad is very passionate about loving God, loving people and receives great fulfillment in life from working in the ministry God has called him to and growing in His love daily!
